What we do

Disaster Relief

Whether it’s the victims of natural disasters such as a hurricane, tornado, earthquake or tsunami, or refugees in the midst of life-threatening conflict, CBN’s Operation Blessing is helping suffering people endure and recover by providing critical aid such as clean water, medical care, food, shelter, and basic essentials.

  • Wars, floods, hurricanes, typhoons, and earthquakes— natural or man-made disasters – can strike anywhere, as we’ve seen.
  • The damage can be catastrophic, with homes, livelihood, and even lives lost.
  • Disasters disproportionately affect the poorest who often lack resources or access to support systems in order to get back work and rebuild their lives.

What We Have Accomplished Together

  • In 2020, CBN’s Operation Blessing's U.S. Disaster Relief Team responded to 15 disasters in the United States, including hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and fires in California and Oregon. Food, safe water, and other critical supplies were delivered to residents who were affected by these disasters.
  • In response to COVID- 19, Operation Blessing’s Hunger Strike Force delivered more than 22 million pounds of food to distribute here in the United States.2
  • Outside of the United States, Operation Blessing helped people in response to COVID-19 in more than 20 countries. Operation Blessing produced more than 50,000 gallons of disinfecting chlorine, installed over 100 handwashing stations, distributed over 1 million pounds of food, and gave more than 100,000 masks.1
  • This year internationally, Operation Blessing was able to help people in response to natural and man-made disasters and crises in 15 different countries, including the blasts in Lebanon, typhoons in the Philippines, flooding in Kenya, and hurricanes in Central America.1

With your generosity, these programs bring hope and relief to those in need, as an expression of God's unfailing love.
