What we do

Life-Changing Surgeries

All over the world people suffer needlessly because they can’t afford surgery that could literally transform their lives. CBN’s Operation Blessing is bringing hope and help to these individuals with Life-Changing Surgeries. Because of the lower medical expenses in foreign countries, Operation Blessing is able to provide these surgeries at a fraction of the cost in the U.S.

The Need

  • Each year, hundreds of thousands of people are diagnosed with medical conditions ranging from easy to repair physical deformities such as a cleft lip, to major issues such as heart defects.
  • The good news is that many of these conditions can be treated through surgical procedures.
  • The bad news is that many will never experience the healing they long for because their families are too impoverished to afford the necessary medical care.

What We Have Accomplished Together

  • Operation Blessing sponsors cleft lip and palate surgeries to correct deformities, eye surgery, heart defect surgery, tumor removal and much more. In partnership with surgeons, hospitals, government agencies, and caring people like you, we are able to provide those who are living in poverty with the operations they need.
  • Giving a child a new smile, repairing a damaged heart or restoring sight is life-changing—not only for the patient but for their families, friends and communities as well. It's a gift of love from God that changes lives forever!
  • Last year, Operation Blessing supported more than 190 surgeries, treating cataracts, cleft palates, and other conditions across 17 different countries.

With your generosity, these programs bring hope and relief to those in need, as an expression of God's unfailing love.
