A 107 Year Quest for Love

At the ripe old age of 107, many women would abandon romantic notions of falling in love, but not Wang Guiying.  After spending over a century as a single woman, she's ready to tie the knot.  Now all she needs is a groom. /span>

Like many single women, Wang has enlisted the help of friends and family to help her find a man, though the selection of eligible bachelors isn't quite as plentiful as it would have, maybe 50 or 75 years ago.  Wang says she doesn't want a trophy husband, but instead someone her age that she can talk to and share life experiences with./span>

She told the Chongqing Commercial Times that she doesn't want to be a burden on her nieces and nephews who have been taking care of her, especially since the youngest of these relatives is now 60./span>

Though the selection of potential mates is pretty slim for this aspiring bride, local officials are happy to help her in the quest for love.  She still firmly believes that Mr. Right is waiting for her, and hopefully her many years of waiting will be well worth it.    /span>
