A Faithful Witness For Christ and His Church

Last October, I used this space to tell you about the historic Christ Church, Savannah, and its departure from the Episcopal Church U.S.A. Christ Church was founded in 1733, about the time Georgia became a British colony. John Wesley and George Whitefield were among the church's early pastors.

I expressed my admiration for the church's leadership for its decision to align itself with the more theologically conservative Anglican Province of Uganda. After listening to Christ Church's rector, the Reverend Marcus Robertson, explain the reasons for that decision, I'm even more impressed. Let me encourage you to listen as well. You'll be grateful for the courageous, yet humble stand Rev. Robertson and a handful of other faithful leaders of this denomination are taking for Christ.
